As these 60 + years have flown by, I have been blessed with having attended Lanier and moved on in life with many life journies. I was able to see 86 countries and all 50 states while serving in the Air Force. I began as a jet mechanic in 1962 and served in Germany, Colorado, Washington D.C., Panama, Viet Nam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Africa, Middle East, and South America. I served Presidents Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon on Air Force One as a Load Master and Flight Steward. My last tour of duty was in Los Angeles as the NCOIC of Medical Recruiting. I got out of the Air Force January 1977. I was a consultant in Africa in 1980. 1981 to 1983, I was a consultant in the Middle East, based out of Dubai with my company - Arabian Tiger International. I returned to California and got into Real Estate. In 1998, I moved to Las Vegas to start life over after my first bout of cancer and a wife that wanted a husband 15 years younger. Oh well life moves on. From car sales to race promoter back to Real Estate in 2000 to 2010. From then to 2015, I worked on a major development project in Mexico, Arizona, and Nevada. In June 2016 to now, I have been a mining consultant on four different mining projects. Have been dealing with major medical issues.15 surgeries since September 2019 to now. Now facing 2 more resulting from being hit by a car in the crosswalk in Old Town Las Vegas. Hit and run. Fortunately, no broken bones, but major internal abdominal injuries. Scheduling that surgery latter part of 2022. My heart and sternum repair should be scheduled for April. Other than that, God loves me for some reason. It is now 35 times that I could have been, should have been, and was dead. The continuing saga of Tiger Bill moves on. Stay positive, stay healthy, and wishing you continued success in your life. School Story

Raised as a Georgia farm boy on my Grandfather Herrington's farm in Forsyth, and then six years as a mechanic apprentice in my father's shop in Macon, until I graduated from Lanier in 1961 and joined the Air Force. I didn't have much experience during my Junior and Senior years at Lanier because of working in my Father's shop.

Because of our life experiences with my father as a Captain in the Army, I took to ROTC like a fish to water. I enjoyed being Captain of the Color Guard and a Member of the Drill Team.

Prior to attending Lanier, I attended Union School for my 3rd to 7th grades.
