Jeff Pace

31 years at IBM from individual contributor to country manager in Asia. Following IBM, spent 18 months in Europe with a Tampa based company before returning home to Atlanta and creating PACE, Inc. along with my wife, Linda, in 1999. It's a sales process consultancy company and we have thrived (gotopace.com). Have 3 grown DNA children, 2 step-daughters and an adopted daughter, age 12. Also 3 sons-in-law, 1 daughter-in-law and 9 grandchildren the oldest of which is in his second year at the US Air Force Academy. He was lucky enough to become my grandson and even more fortunate to avoid my DNA. He's a step-grandson who has been a part of our lives since he was 6 years old. Life has been good...so far...and I hope it continues.

I've often wondered who thought it was a good idea to have boys and girls at different schools in Macon when we grew up. I don't know what all went on at Miller but we got into some really bad habits at Lanier. When I enrolled at Mercer, I recall being something barely short of being intimidated by the presence of girls in my classes. Fortunately, things changed.
